This website serves as a free-to-consumer directory designed to assist potential clients in finding Black attorneys and law firms in their area. Our directory is state-specific. The selections featured are based on independent research and/or nominations. They are not legal advice and should not be interpreted as an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of any attorney's or law firm's qualifications, abilities, or results. Designations such as "10 Best," "Our Choice," or similar titles reflect our independent selection process and are not a definitive ranking.

Attorneys and firms cannot purchase their selection. Free and paid memberships are optional and do not influence selection. Attorneys or firms listed on our home page as featured have paid to be featured. Information is supplied by the listed attorneys and is not independently verified. Consumers should verify licensing and disciplinary history with their state bar. We are not a law firm or lawyer referral service and do not provide legal advice. Contact contact@aioba.org with questions.
